Ingredients for making fake wood sauce:
800 drops of pork or beef
2 chopped onions
2 chopped garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of margarine or oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 meat broth tablet (optional)
200 grams of mushrooms
Black pepper
salt
How to Make Fake Wood Sauce:
In a pressure cooker, saute the onion and garlic in margarine or oil until the onion wilts. Add the meat and fry the meat until golden on all sides.
Tip: If you want you can cut the meat into cubes, this way it will cook faster.
Dissolve a bouillon tablet in 1 cup of hot water and place in the pan. If you prefer, you can use homemade beef broth or just water. Also add salt to taste and soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce, cover the pan and cook for 20-30 minutes after applying pressure.
Tip: The cooking time of meat depends on the size of the cubes and the type of meat, whether it is softer or harder.
After the indicated time, let the pressure out of the pan and open it. Make sure the meat is ready and if it is, remove it to a plate. Dissolve the cornstarch in half a cup of water and place in the pan along with the mushrooms. Leave on medium heat, stirring until thickened.
That's your fake wood sauce! Taste and match the flavor with salt and pepper, if necessary. Serve it with the meat and you can enjoy it. Enjoy your food!
